Light Manipulation Lab

The Light Manipulation Lab is located in Pozzuoli at the Naples section of the National Institute of Optics (INO). The main lines of research focus on the manipulation of light in the telecom and mid-infrared bands for applications in optical and quantum communications and gravitational wave interferometers.
In particular, the laboratory hosts two main research activities, with researchers working on structured light, orbital angular momentum beams, optomechanics, nonlinear optics and squeezed states of light.
